Sorry your Prairie Dog shoot won't be as good as hoped RB. Most cattlemen/farmers want nothing to do with anything that eats their profit.

25gr into 7000gr(one pound) will only give you 280 rds

For ME, lt depends on my AGE. My true GOLD Standard for a prairie dog scope is the ability to see a 22 caliber hole in a target @ 200yds. 35 yrs ago when l first started shooting prairie dogs a 14 power Leupold was enough. Now @ age 78 it takes a 35x Leupold :-(
