All my experience with the .338 x .378 is on MK V actions. I don't know much about the Stiller actions or detachable mag bottom metal. I have installed an extended Watt box.
Check with HSP to verify that they make a MK V stock for a heavy barrel. Several years ago they didn't. Bell & Carlson I believe does. It would probably be a "Medalist" or "Threat Response".

I was been reading through some of your old posts and it seems you know the 338 378 Weatherby very well. I was currently piecing together parts for a build and was looking for your opinion. Right now I am thinking about the stiller tac 338 action, 28" benchmark barrel with benchmark break. I would like to use a hs precision stock. My ultimate goal is to fit this a detachable magazine. Could you make any suggestions on a detachable mag that with handle this cartridge as well as bottom metal?
