What outfitter are you using in Newfoundland? I was researching newfoundland.
I'm looking for a cabin facility, with an easy walk in. No horse back or rough terrain. We have 2 elderly gentlemen in our hunting party. So it's kinda hard to find a drive in, or something easy on the knees.

Did you use the meter dial on the side of the Zeiss scope, or just the hash marks on the lens
I also have a Zeiss scope. It has the hash marks, and the dial. I am 6" high at 100 yards. 3" high at 200 yards. So I figure am basically zeroed at 300 yards.

It's a Browning, synthetic, semi auto, short track. 7mm-08. about 4-5 years old. I tried 2 different scopes, so the scope is ruled out.
I'm comparing it to my Remington 750, semi auto, which is a tack driver, and much cheaper than the Browning.

Factory Federal loads. I'm certainly not happy with it. Next time, I will use my rifle bench tray, rather than sand bags.
