Been punching paper and rock shooting at 1000+ yards for a few years but I'd like to finally purchase a steel target to set out at 1000. Not really sure what steel target to place there. Any suggestions? (6mm to 338 Lapua will be shot at it.)

Well you did set your rifle up to shoot the 170 Berger... That bullet will be just fine. Either would work. Get to the range and try both. Use whichever bullet gives you best accuracy. Where are you hunting this year?

Great stuff. I've used it for several years now. Started using it when I hunted in the Everglades and now in Alaska. I also use the paste FrogLube for my flintlock patch lube.

Have an elderly friend that needs some 307 Winchester ammo. He hasn't been able to find any factory ammo in many years. Told him I'd look around for ammo or brass and if I found some brass I'd reload it for him. Anyone have some brass or can point me in the right direction to look? I've searched...

Keep it a cartridge that Lapua makes brass for. My vote is for the 6.5x284.

I have the monster Pelican 1770 and carry three 50 inch rifles with scopes and bipods. Comes in right under 100 pounds loaded. The case alone is 41 pounds. its been through airports and the mail system a few times. Great case.
