  • Does enyone now a place to pick up some 219 zipper brass used our new thanks. My deer hunting was a bust and dident have time for the yotes this year, but rock chucks are coming out things could be looking up.
I know JR with Defensive edge and he is pushing me that way its all a matter of $. leupold is 600 to 700 cheaper but i might have to save a little longer thanks for the info. Need to get something soon my old redfield five star is getting tierd and not tracking.
If it's in your budget, I would highly recommend the Nightforce NXS in either the 3.5-15x50 or 5.5-22x50. You will not find a more dependable scope suited for LR. The PHO is basically a leupold scope and they're a good scope, but hard to say what quality specs they are built to. They do not compare to a NF and if you want a BDC turret, you can order one for the NF from one of several companies. Based on reports I've read, my next choice after a NF would probably be a Sightron III. Once again you can order a BDC turret for these scopes as well.

I think the HS Sendero stocks are great. B&C make a great stock in the Medalist as well and McMillan makes ggod stocks too. I would always get a good solid synthetic (not plastic) with either full aluminum bed or pillars. Good shooting with your 280 Acklley, would love to have one someday.
