I haven't tried it in my 6 Creed yet, but I was very pleased with the results of VV N555 and the 6.5 Creedmoor. Single digit SD's with the 140 gr Sierra Tipped GameKing and almost 2700 fps from a 22" barrel. VV N555 is supposed to be good with the 6 Creed too, but I haven't tried that combo...

My Remington 700 has a 24" Krieger 1:12 barrel. It shoots the 155 gr Berger VLD bullet very well and I see that Berger classifies it as a hunting bullet now. I haven't had any trouble getting 2800+ fps with it and excellent accuracy. Do you think there'd be any issue using it on mule deer...

I'd try a different shell holder first. However... That Frankford Arsenal handheld priming tool is great, and it does let the user adjust the seating depth of the primer. I've used mine extensively for the past year. Pretty gave up using the others I've accumulated over time. Regards, Guy
