I drew a tag out west for a Nov mule derr hunt. What rifle would you take and why? I have a 6.5x284, 30-378 and a 338 Laupa. They all great guns and all heavy, but get heavier as they get larger. What are your thoughts

That helps, i thought it could be. I failed to state the gun is a custom barrel on a 709 action not a factory built remington gun. I will stick to 209 powder since i have lots of it. Any wisdom on the best bullet and sabot to use? So far been shooting the hornady sst 300 grain i think. Works...

My 13 year old drew a elk tag in New Mexico, so we are headed back after no tags for 2 or so years. In past she shot a pronghorn at 192 yards with this ML. We were using 83.5 weighed grains of blackhorn 209. I want to go to imr4350 if able and try that to cut down on cleaning. Any ideas on...

I dont have a location in mind, want to hunt the hard to get trophy type units for 190+ mule deer and 340+ elk. I am getting prepared for when i do draw a tag. This year i should draw a wyoming tag in region H. So even if i am a year or more out, i need a outfitter, i dont have time to scout...

I was going to try to hunt rifle season in Kansas this year or next with my wife. I should have a point, so I should be able to draw soon. Where should we try to hunt? Best places and what to expect? Thanks

I have two black chassis, one is the covert, with a 338 barrel and a 308. 338 never fired,308 shot about 4 times. I don't have a need for them, and would part with them. Don't have to sell so it won't be a steal, but email me at [email protected] if interested.
