I have hunted most of my life. It is my passion. I haven't really shot many deer over the last few years because I have focused on getting nice deer for my boys and my friends. This time is different. The biggest deer I have ever taken. Taken on the family Ranch outside Bruni, Texas. This is the culmination of a lot of hard work and patience on, not only my part, but the part of my entire family. Thank you for indulging my obsession that I have had with this one particular deer. It took 7 solid days of hunting in order to get the shot, and even then, I don't know why he changed his pattern of being exclusively nocturnal. He scored a tick over 170. 220 yard shot with only a couple of minutes of legal hunting time left that evening. I was shooting a custom 280 AI with factory Nosler Accubonds. Good Hunting my friends.
