Best 34mm rings?

I can't speak to the others, but both my ATACR's are in Nightforce rings. Mostly on a .338 RUM, and haven't given me cause to look for better.

For you consideration, Burris Signature XTR rings with offset inserts (https://www.burrisoptics.com/mounting-systems/rings/xtr-signature-rings) that can give you up to for MOA is built like a tank ... lot of rings for the money. I have it on my .30 LARA anchoring the IOR Valdada securely in-place.

NEAR Alpha mount

After learning about Richard Near's products and process I recently installed a NEAR alpha hunter on a model 700 long action. Couldn't be more pleased with it.

The alpha hunter is a direct (to the receiver) mount with dual recoil lugs. The alpha mount is a pic. rail version. They are manufactured out of stainless steel which is hardened and stress relieved (thermal cycling) prior to machining.

My alpha hunter weighs 3.5oz and single feeds like a dream (compared to a rail).

Don't know what "best" means as there are a bunch that will hold your scope zeroed.

Some of the more expensive mounts/rings will do that in a more compact package. Something like the ARC or Sphur mounts that have the offset clamping screws will really reduce the profile of your scope, not that any of the 34mm scopes are really trim or sleek to begin with. But I have sphur mounts, Nightforce ultralight mounts, seekins, and vortex as well as some cheap off brand stuff in 34mm rings. They all have done the job, but if I was going to buy something now it would be Sphur, ARC, badger or Nightforce knowing that it was rock solid.
