I just put a 4.5-14x44 ziess z800 ret on my new 7mm r saum
I'm using 168 Berger vld I still need to chrono but the
Ziess calculator saus I need to use 10 power for optamal yards to work
Can I enter the data so I get the yardage for the lines on 14 power
Because shooting far u need more zoom how can the calculater
Do this and yes 3 to 8 will not be Perfect
One more how do u use the z800 as a range finderit

Yes, you can use the higher powers if you know the actual yardage values; i.e.. the 6 line may be 580 yards or 620 yards. You will need to play with the calculator a bit and trick it to get the data. Or use another ballistic computer and see what your bullet drop is at those distances and calculate it from there. Another option is to use a cheat sheet that has how many clicks to adjust the turret to make the lines work for their specified yardage. You may need to dial up or down just a couple of clicks. There are several ways to do what you are asking. You just need to sit down at the range and try them. See which method works best for you.
