What range does this operate and site up to?

I do not remember the exact specs but you may be able to find them on the web. I have personally ranged out to 1300 without a problem. It will range further but I did not use it for that.

Great unit. Have also ranged out to 1300yds ish flawlessly. Clarity, beam, and response are awesome.

I have one as well and have ranged to about 1300yd. One element that a lot of people fail to consider is glass quality and light gathering as when your trying to range that trophy buck/bull at last light some rangefinders just won't allow you to see the animal to range him but these Zeiss have great optics for a rangefinder.
