Used but runs real good. No damage, lens clean & like new. Factory reconditioned as per note on box - but - this scope has an etched reticle & when the Zeiss guys reassembled it a small brown blob was deposited on the lower left quadrant of the reticle, this is only visible at 3X. I have used this scope on & off for 18 years with no problems. Zeiss assures me of maintenance which would include removing the small fuzzy blob. Outstanding optics in a low budget tough bright scope.
