As the title suggests, curious to get data from you guys that have found success for 7RM 160 TSX RL26? I have a 22" proof in 8.5 twist.
I know I know, always follow recommendations from the appropriate reloading books.... always watch for pressure, etc etc....
I'm committed to RL26.
I've got the following to try, but I'm REALLY wanting to end up with the 160 TSX prevailing (I want to be knocking elk out of their socks). The 139's have been superbly effective at doing just that, but I want to shoot heavier.
Barnes
-139 LRX
-145 LRX
-150 TTSX
-160 TSX
-168 LRX
Hornady
-162 ELDX
Nosler
-150 LRAB
I've tried most of these with H1000 and H4831, but nothing really stood out (all at recommended seating depths).
I've had great luck with factory Barnes ammo in 139 LRX and 150 TTSX, so I'm frustrated that, at best, I've only been able to match (not exceed) the accuracy of factory ammo.
So, what recipes have earned their place in your hunting load lineup?
