Opinions on these for a savage build? Saw some stuff from a few years ago. Will the smaller .990 muzzle contour work in a savage heavy barrel stock. It's an older action. Stock selection is limited.

Yes the light weight barrel should work in a savage heavy barrel stock. you might have to do some minor fitting. I just received a similar barrel for a Savage Model 11 and it shoots great. They were right at their lead time on delivery.

They quoted me 10-12 weeks and it came in about 10 weeks.
