It's tempting. But when I talked to TB early January they said it would be November before they would have a serial number available. So it's probably about two years before a guy would receive the can between waiting on them and then the tax stamp.

It's not the same wait. Companies are getting orders in all the time and not all the cans are spoken for. With a cert you have to order directly from TB and you are behind all those other orders.

Its tempting to purchase it but dang it's a long wait.

Didn't know that. I don't have a supressor. Sounded like some hoops to jump through

I called them yesterday about the wait time for redeeming a cert, and they said 12 months. And then you still have to file for your tax stamp after that. Not at all saying anything bad about this....just good to know the details in order to have the proper expectations.
