Winchester 1885 Highwall built around 1918 originally with #3 barrel in 32-40 but bored out to 45-70 by Badger Barrels and cut to 28 inches. Action converted to close-couple trigger using Ballard Rifle parts. Rear sight is Winchester long range ladder sight. Front sight is custom Rocky Mountain sight. Action case colored hardened with the rest of the metal rust blued. Wood is highly figured American Black Walnut with ebony insert in forearm. All wood glass bedded.
