The SSG 04 features: a robust SSG bolt action system with six massive rear locking lugs, Mil-Spec black manganese phosphate finish on the external metal components, black non-reflective fiberglass reinforced butt-stock which is quickly adjustable for length-of-pull, cant and cheek-piece height, heavy duty steel SBS receiver with integral Picatinny rail, large PII style bolt handle, precision 23.6" ( 600mm ) precision cold-hammer forged threaded barrel with proprietary detachable muzzle brake, SBS three position safety system, match-grade target trigger, eight-round magazine. Steyr guarantees their precision cold-hammer forged barrels are good for thousands of sub-MOA shots at extended ranges.
