I have a M70, post 64', aprox. early 70's with a free floated, ultra-light in .270 Winchester, it is threaded with a custom muzzle brake, the recoil is less than a .243.
I would like to buy or trade for a med.-heavy 26" or longer .30-06 barrel?
The .270 barrel is original Winchester I had the gunsmith install while doing a complete custom one off build. I was hoping to use the weapon to hunt in the west/Northwest for Mulies/Elk, but due to my combat injuries I can not climb in those altitudes anymore, I can barly get around here in the flat part of TN, ha! The current configuration is shooting sub-moa off the bench @ 200m, yes it is sweet. But I Just want a barrel I can change the weapon over to LE/Mil spec. Sniper/Counter Sniper with.
