I know this is a model that people buy and then let sit forever because it kicks like a mule and isn't all that practical. I am looking for this gun, preferably in Idaho or Montana, eastern Washington or somewhere that I frequent. I would be willing to talk trades, or give cash if somebody has one sitting in the safe. I just need a super-light weapon to carry in the backcountry and hopefully never fire.

I have one I am looking to sell. I would rather trade it for a nice varmint rig. 223 or 22-250 something like that. I could use a leupold 4.5-14 as well.

I hope you find one. I carry mine everywhere here in AK. I think you'll find when you get it that it isn't a plinking gun, but it isn't that bad to shoot. The wood grips look nice, but i highly recommend you install the houge grip
