FYI the newer models (not sure which exact year) come with a better factory rubber grip that covers the metal back of the handle and is quite manageable. much better than the previous gen rubber grips with the rear metal exposed. with the new grips it's become my go to packing gun for archery and MT! good luck! i love this gun!
