Looking for a good price on 7mm sendero. Please let me know what you have. Looking to get into the long range hunting, is the sendero going to be too much to pack in the field compared to an XCR? Is the barrel weight of an XCR sufficiant for long range shooting? I would put a better stock on the XCR of course.

I have a 7 mm rum sendero I may be selling...
42 rds total down the tube
vias muzzlebrake
trigger -set at 2 #
100 rds of brass would go with gun
also have RCBS FL die set included
(I'm really wanting a 300 wm-if you have one availible to trade/deal with)

Don't need the brass or dies or a scope, just the rifle. How much would you let it go for.

I've got a 7saum SF-1 Sendero with a brake and tuned trigger. It has just under 90 rounds through it. PM me if your interested.

Good luck.

Most sporter weight factory guns are sufficiently accurate to make consistent hits out to 600yds on deer sized targets. Some are accurate enough to stretch that out beyond 800yds. Heavier barrels tend to be more accurate though. The first thing you need for long range is accuracy and that is why I tend to build heavy rifles and carry them hunting. I'd rather work a little harder getting where I'm hiking to carrying a rifle I know is capable of the job then have less to pack with a rifle that is questionable for the job. I just consider it part of long range hunting.

With that being said Sendero's aren't that bad to pack around.
