I need a stock for a Pre-64 M70. Looking for a McMillan in the Marksman pattern, or Baker Special, or something along those lines. I use the rifle exclusively for long range prone matches, so a stock that will work for that style of shooting is what I'm after. It currently is wearing an original walnut Marksman stock, but it has been promised to my gunsmith, so I need to replace it. The rifle has a #7 Douglas barrel on it, so I need a heavy barrel channel.
Anybody that has something that they're not using, or knows where to get one at a better price than McMillan's full retail, let me know. Thanks!
