The Polymer 80 PF1045 looks neat if you like a project and know enough about Glocks to make sure it's reliable.
If you were going to buy a G20 but can't leave anything alone, building a Polymer 80 might ever work out cheaper.

Sorry, I do not have one for sale but I recently purchased a Glock 40 MOD for the exact same reason as yours. I used to carry a .44 Mag. 10MM is an excellent choice, not sure if you have seen this post >>> https://www.longrangehunting.com/threads/10mm-as-a-hunting-round-for-medium-size-game.235983/
I only went through a box of 180s but very pleased with it so far. Although I shoot the .44 Mag well, I've always wanted a 10MM and this video helped "me" in my decision-making process ...

I have a Glock model 40 10 MM that has had about 20 or so rounds fired through it that I would sell. I bought this for Bear protection for a Wyoming bow hunt. Happy to say I saw bears, but never had to use it.

I've already got a 500 I wouldn't want to carry it through the mountains for a week and a half lol
It does ge a bit heavy, only use mine as backup when hunting feral hogs so I'm not hiking with it. I also carry the G40 and used to carry the G20 I think out of all of them I would carry the G20 if I was hiking through the mountains.
Great video to help you choose....Glock IMHO fits the bill.....but in order to be effective...you need to practice with a full arm extension...gun upside down...firing behind your back....WHILE RUNNING AT FULL SPEED!

I just picked up a Springfield XDM OSP in 10mm for this same purpose. The XDM comes with a fully supported varrel from the factory for running the hotter hard cast loads for bears from Underwood or Doubletap. The Glock really needs a ln aftermarket barrel for safety reasons such as blowing up the frame from an unsupported cartridge. The XDM OSP also has an extended barrel to reduce the chances of the slide coming out of battery when pressed into a bear should the situation get that bad.
If price is an issue; my son bought a used police S&W M&P .40 from a vendor on the internet for $200 + $25 for the local transfer. It holds a 15 rd mag & one in the pipe. Also there's the Sig 2340 which can be converted to a .357 from the .40. That holds 12 rds in the mag (either cal). The M&P 40 is Victoria state police standard in Australia since 2010. I fired both pistols yesterday, a full mag each, rapid fire, & consider them to be much milder than my 3" Colt 1911.
