If I wanted to buy a new one, that's what I'd do. But if I wanted to buy a new one, I also wouldn't have posted on the forum. A forum is to try and find used equipment that other people don't have a use for any longer.

If 250 bucks is going to BYA, you may have an issue. 
The other issue is that Eberlestock packs, people don't part with. Best made and ES has the only pull out from the top scabbard.

Looks like people do sell them... $250 certainly doesn't break the bank, but it's nice to save some money and take something off of somebody's hands that isn't using it.
