Hi looking for a christensen arms carbon one custom, lighted bolt handle, spiral bolt, caliber 270-338.I looked at GB and GA not to much out there so i will test the waters here. Thanks gun)

I have two Christensens that are getting neglected. Both are top of the line, with titanium brake, fluted bolt, carbon stock, sako extractor, double ejectors. The first is a 270 wsm. I think it is lilja bbl under the carbon, but cannot recall. 24". It showed up right before hunting season about 5 years ago, and due to time constraints, I tested factory ammo first. It loved the 150 grain fusion load, and the tds reticle of the swaro scope I put on it matched well (and it shot well) to 650 yards. I shot a nice 6x7 bull with it that year, but since then, only took it out one time, to shoot a deer two seasons ago. FYI, the elk was one shot kill at 485, and the buck another one shot kill at about 550. The other is a 338 RUM. It has all the above, for sure a lilja, and 26" bbl. It has given me some fits b/c it is basically a one hole gun most of the time, but has gone haywire a few times. I figured out that the recoil was tearing up the optics and mounts. It now has a one piece base pinned on, and once I put a Nightforce 2.5-10 in three rings, I think it is steady. But, I have not really tested it thoroughly since getting it reset that way. But, it did eat several leupolds and a swarovski along the way.

Let me know if you would be interested in either. I can give you more details and send pics. contact me a [email protected]

warbird, You might want review the threads on here about christensen arms...... lotsa different levels of performance out of these guns. i have one thats great and another not much so....

I have a 22-250 Howa with the Christensen carbon fiber barrel. Holds tite up to 200 yards dont know past that. So far its a shooter, after i had a lot of mods done to the sloppy Howa.

I have a very rare Christensen Arms Carbon One Custom TT, in 300 RUM, that I have recently decided to part with. There were only 2,000 of the TT (which stands for Titanium) models made and then they were discontinued because they were too expensive to manufacture and still be profitable. It's really light weight –6 lbs and that's including the scope and mounts! It's the lightest and strongest rifle that Christensen had ever made. With the Carbon 26" barrel and titanium muzzle brake it recoils like 30-06. Needless to say it's extremely accurate - ¾ MOA consistently and Christensen guaranties the barrel's accuracy for life. You can call Christensen to verify any of this. The stock is Tungsten with Grey Webbin. There is a Jewel adjustable trigger that adjust from 1.5 lbs. and the action is the reliable Remington 700 RH. Once again, All metal on this rifle is completely comprised of titanium (Titanium receiver, Titanium spiraled bolt, Titanium hollowed out handle, Titanium action, Titanium trigger and guard and Titanium muzzle brake). The price is $5,000 firm and with that you'll get a $1,000 top of the line Leopold scope (details on the scope upon further interest) and comes to your door in a Pelican case. This rifle has only had 2 boxes of shells through it, which is partly why I'm selling it – I have too many guns and not enough time to shoot them all. On the fence? (Price a regular Carbon One Custom at the Christensen Arms siteand it will be more than my price without the rare titanium or scope) Call if interested and I'll send you photos.
