Looking for a good blr. Would prefer a takedown model but I am interested in any. I had one and sold it. You know how it goes. Sellers remorse. I carried a BAR last fall. Nice gun but way too heavy for an old guy. Jim 417-676-2296

Go here, normally one or two BLR 358s for sale. I bought a super nice one there last year for $500

Plus Gunbroker has a bunch of BLRs with several 358s and 30'06.

You could look for one in 308. I have hunted with one for the last fifteen years. It has been my go to rifle, except for 600+ yard shots.

Thanks for the replies. I'm watching Gunbroker and 24 HR. I am really having a hard time deciding between the short action in 308 or 358 and the long action in 06. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
