i hate how swfa wont ship a mount and rings to me cause im in canada, i really wanted to get a egw base and the ss rings but they wont ship to me and i cant find a place in canada where i can even get a base that isnt like 200 dolars. its rediculous.

egw will ship but if i buy just the base it cost me 20 shipping and then i am gunna have to find rings and pay 20 shipping for those 2 which is why i wanted to order from one place so i dont get completly raped by shipping charges

Are the NEAR Manufacturing bases what you mean by "like 200 dolars" Where's your "BUY CANADIAN" patriotism? I think their bases are good enough that I bought one for my 338-378 Sako TRGS. Ridiculous? Certainly!

I don't know how that would work out for cost with shipping but maybe worth a look.

It used to be easy to get stuff into Canada for us regular folks (i.e. don't have import permit) but in recent years US Homeland Security has really tightened things down on getting things out of the States. Canadian govt has no issues with us bringing stuff over, it's Homeland Security.

Its just frusterating that I can't get affordable parts cause I'm canadian. I would buy from a canadian manufacturer if I could afford it, one reason I eanted to order from swfa is because I could get the egw base and the ss rings for around 100 to my door. Hunting season is coming quickly and I can't afford much more than that.

Yes they do, I've got 2 of them. The Near Mfg website is not up to date, so just give Ricahrd Near a call. He makes bases for all current Savage actions in 12MOA and 20MOA. First class product.

I tried to order one before and they called me and told me they didn't make the mount I needed. Ohwell I ordered a egw base directly from egw.
