I've owned this rifle since it was new. Purchased in the mid 80's - these came out in 1985. Winchester didn't make very many of these push feed XTR's in the Sporter Varmint - they have a slightly heavier barrel, but 24" as opposed to the 26" on the Varmint model. This one is extremely accurate and was easy to load for. I've put less than 100 rounds through this one, mostly coyote hunting. Comes with Burris one piece base and new Leupold 1" medium rings.Gun and bluing is in excellent condition with the exception of one small spot on the bottom of the barrel about an inch from the muzzle (pictured). This is the only XTR Sporter Varmint I've ever seen in person - have only seen a handful listed for sale online. I have this one posted on GB at the moment but thought I'd offer it on a few forums at a lower price. Will ship in hard plastic case in a cardboard box to your FFL for $1100. I can accept Paypal friends and family, Venmo, or you can mail a check or money order.
