I have a Winchester model 70 in .270. It is the 2008 version with the stamp on the bottom of the mag commemorating the reissue of the model 70 as a controlled feed gun. It comes with a EGW one piece base already mounted. It has never seen anything other then the range and the gun safe. I just came to the conclusion that I have guns on either side of this caliber and I am gearing up for another custom build so rather then have this sit in my gun safe I will pile the money from this back into another gun.
