Winchester 70 Classic Super Grade 300 RUM

Helping my buddy sell this rifle.

This is a Winchester model 70 Classic Super Grade CRF chambered in 300 rum, purchased in 1999 or 2000, when they first started making the rifle in 300 rum.

I went completely through this rifle, cleaned and lubed it, and while it has been well used, it is still a solid rifle. This has takan a pile of critters, but still has a lot more to give.

Pictures show it with a gen 1 Vortex PST SFP 4-16, but this is the rifle only. If your interested in the scope, that will be a separate listing, along with a bunch of other items.

She looks like she has been used.
Sometimes those are the best shooters.

That stock can be cleaned up to look like new if you know what you are doing. The muzzle has some serious issue with the dent. Can be fixed by re-crowning it. The metal can be re-blued or cerakoted. Someone can make this look GREAT.
How does it shoot now and how many rounds?

I'm not bashing the gun, I've be looking forever for one myself. I'd put a synthetic on it and cerakote it too.

So this was my buddy's brother's rifle, who recently passed, so I'm not certain on everything. However, the crown is where this rode around, ALOT, as a truck gun, and wore the metal down sitting muzzle down in the vehicle. I inspected the crown itself with a scope, and it's not as bad as it looks, I can post pics later. I don't know round count, but here is the throat. It's been shot, but honestly the fire cracking isn't terrible for a rum. The pics are the leade, 1", 2", and 3" past the leade.
