Win 70 gunsmith

I have a new win 70 wsm action I'd like trued up. Is there anybody who can work on these actions with the 1.062x28 threads ?

I know of several good smiths in Colorado, if you'd be willing to drive/ship.

I'd bet though, that there are several capable folks in Wyoming. I've just never needed to get further away than Denver to find exceptional quality smiths.

Let me know if you don't run across any good leads for folks in Wyo, and I'll give you leads on Denver area guys.

I think most are set up to do the normal 1"x16 threads and don't want to buy new tooling

If you have a lathe it is no problem to cut those threads. A Remington is 1.062 X16 tpi .The problem may be getting it apart as I have heard of some problems ruining the action.
