WHY I LIKE TACTICAL MOUNTS

To make room in a crowded gunsafe I take the scopes off some of the rifles. This is easy since I have switched most of the usin'-guns to tactical mounts.
Yesterday I shot a rifle that had been stored for several months, the scope put away in a separate place. Placed the B&L Tactical scope onto the rail, torqued the ring nuts and went to the range to test the new Noslers.
Shot the entire test and did not touch my turrets - that is why I like tactical mounts.

Don't have Nightforce, also have H-S Precision and Ken Farrell rings and bases and Near bases. Very nice interchangeability between Near and Badger bases, others are not Picatinny spec. so rings would have to be moved on scopes. This is an expensive way to go - but the strongest and most repeatable there is - maybe other than handmade systems like the David Miller.
