Which Scope To Buy

I have decided to take the Vortex Viper 3-9x40 off my CZ 550 6.5x55 and put it on my sons Vanguard S2 30-06 so I need a new scope for my CZ. The furthest I would shoot would be 300 yards or less. I have narrowed my choices to another Viper, a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40, or a Sightron II Big Sky 3-9x42. I hunt deer and hogs but mostly deer. I would like opinions on which of the three scopes you think is the best. I will be purchasing one of the three so please don't suggest another brand or magnification. Thank you in advance.

Zeiss! Not sure if they have one or not..?...but a 3-9 x50 would be a BIG improvement at dawn and dusk from the larger objective

EDIT: YES!! Zeiss does have a 3 x 9 -50 !!!!

Sully2 speaks the truth. Why limit yourself to lower magnification at dawn/dusk?

I think a 40MM objective is all I need. If I was shooting past 400 yards I would consider it. I do not like the way a rifle balances with a 50MM.
