I need a recommendation for length and contour for a big .338 project. I'm not sure which calibre yet but it will be strictly a bench or bipod proposition for everything long range.
I see PGW uses 26-27" barrels on their .338 Lapuas, but I had planned to shoot at least 30". The SS barrel will be fluted and it will definitely wear a brake. Brake suggestions would also be welcome. The rifle will be built around the .300 SMK bullet.
Oh yeah. It will be a Lilja barrel.
