Where to buy BAT HR action with Lapua bolt face?

Bullet Central has some in stock but not with the options I want. They are close but they only have the standard length cut and I want the Wyatt's CFE-9 4" cut.

I'm just not finding many places other than BC that sells them.

I ended up ponying up the extra money and getting a vesper. I also have an igniter and if you don't need all the options and weight savings it's pretty dang nice too

I saw the igniter but there are several actions in that price range that are just as good and have similar features. The main advantage it has is the CFE-9 cut.

I looked at the VESPER but that's getting outside my comfort level price wise.

I only saw the igniter and VESPER on the UM website.

Understood. Imho there's just a couple options that are out there for lapua faced actions. Basically a bat or a Borden. Vesper high end and igniter low end. Borden and standard hr in the middle. In the end I found the vesper wasn't terribly more $ then the hr the way I wanted and the igniter was budget friendly.

Ryan uses Borden Bigfoot actions for his Lapua builds. I have one of those that I bought from him. Those cannot accept a 4" magazine box like the BAT can.

Yeah I paid $1600 for my Borden, but it cannot accept the CFE-9 box.

I have an email in to Bullet Central asking if they can get the HR action configured like I want. Looks like the VESPER is about $100 more than the HR similarly configured.

I asked Jim Borden about that on the action I have and he advised against it.

He didn't outright say the warranty would be void, I'm not willing to take that chance on a $1600 action.

I'll sell the Borden action or barreled action and start from scratch with the BAT.

Personally, I would just talk to Bruce Thom (BAT) about customizing his action for this. Email him.
I've had him customize several actions with some pretty wild, one-off stuff, and he was always open to the experimenting.
I think he enjoys it.

Everything I am wanting is on their standard options listing so the action won't be a one off or anything. I just can't find a dealer other than Bullet Central that even lists them and they don't have the exact configuration I'm looking for.

I'm not sure how large their dealer network is but there sure aren't a lot that pull up on a search.

I for one LOVE MY BAT actions I dont care about the price or the wait time..
people also forget they were first with an aluminum hunting action that works and looks insane
their network is exactly how they want it! Tight!
I for one wouldn't want them to be any bigger ..
No one complains about a Borden action not being available except for direct and the fact he hasn't made an all integral action is mind blowing to me!
