12 ga. with a load of 8's at 10' is more my accuracy level.I find a 1911 45acp to the head, solves the problem.
Rattlesnakes can only strike about two thirds of their length. So a 6 footer can only strike about 4 feet. So you can get close and put a bullet in their head.12 ga. with a load of 8's at 10' is more my accuracy level.
