What's your favorite Hot Rod?

Was at Barrett Jackson last week for the first time, ever.
Walked thru everything with my middle child's family. What a blast!
I always had to choose between a hunting truck or a nice hot rod. No money or room for both.
But building model cars when I was a kid and going to Beeline Dragway in the 60's and beyond my favorites were the "gassers" blown or injected.
Nothing beats the sound of those cars idling or screaming!

Back in the day, my hot rod was a 51 Ford truck with a 327 Chevy motor, metal flake blue with half moon hubs. It was also my hunting truck....

Not going to lie it was quite the Rush doing 141 mph in the Quarter mile on Asphalt!
Now I get a Rush shooting one of my 338's !

'66 GTO. Had one before I got married, had to sell it after my kids came along. Miss it all the time.

'72 GMC pickup. Drove on in high school. Miss that one as well.

Ive always like the Ford GT40's, each rendition of it, and the old Cobra 427s. 1968 corvettes were pretty sweet as well.

Had a '70 Road Runner that had a built 383. Sure wasn't any show car but what it lacked in shiny paint it made up for it pure strength. Kind of like that ugly dog that works like no other.

Factory unbadged 1964 Sport Fury convertible in seafoam green that had 361 Golden Commando in it. Pure sleeper until I opened cutouts. I would love to have that today! Cruise with top down would be awesome! No hair to mess up!

This was the last car I restored , bought as a shell off Ebay from California . A 307 three speed from the factory , I put a 350 four speed muncie in it .
