Just picked up a 22-250 ENCORE in 15 inch barrel. 1 in 12 twist. Probably will try 40 to 55 grain bullets. What powders would you start with. None of my books have data for pistol 22-250. Thanks

With my Striker in 22-250 I'm using a start charge (33gr) of h4895 with a win 55 fmj and a 210 for a messing around load; it does 3,000 fps from the 14" bbl. with sub moa groups.
For varminting I use 39gr 760 with a 50 grain off brand bullet from Mid-south shooter supply (210 primer also). A few weeks ago I had the pistol shooting sub moa at 200 with gusty winds.
There are likely better loads out there too but I had extra components on hand for these and they worked fine.
