What height scopes rings? X-Bolt

Hello,

About to purchase Browning X-Bolt in 7mm rem mag. I have a Vortex Viper PST 4-16X50 I am installing. I am going to install a EGW 20moa base. I am looking at the Seekins Precision 30mm rings... my question is what height will i need?

With that scope, lows should fit fine (0.82").

I use Burris xtr lows on mine with a 20 moa rail .I did have to cut the front of the rail off to get the scope to slide back where I wanted It though.

Yup, pretty much with any rail-type scenario, I use low rings (except AR platforms). I pretty much stick with low whenever I can if I have the bolt/bell clearance. The closer the reticle is to the axis of the bore the better IMHO.
