What hammer for my 300wsm?

Hey all. Looking to shoot a hammer bullet out my kimber Montana 300wsm, 1:10, 24" barrel for elk. 500 yard max. I'm thinking about the 154HHT with RL16 and CCI mag primers. Reloading tables from hammer showing max velocity at 3350fps. Anyone running something similar?

I'm not running Hammers, but Barnes 150 TTSX in my Win Mod. 70. I'm pushing those at 3205 fps using StaBall 6.5. Killed an awesome whitetail this year with this load.

This is what I would do as well. I ran the old 152 HH when it was still around

Great choice. I went with the 166 before the 154 HHT was released. You'll be happy with it.
