I hunt PD and Coyotes only now and my firearms and setups cater to this type of hunting. It's going to depend on the terrain and what you're hunting. For coyotes and prairie dogs I sit on a small folding chair and use the Swagger QD-42. I've also used a bipod I made from an old tripod. Removed one leg and it was very steady and easy to move around. If you're in grass that's over 12" inches, I doubt you would be lying prone so you need something to get you above the grass. I never lay prone any more. My newest setup is an inverted tripod, 2 leg section tripod with a Armageddon Fat Bag on top. I can shoot standing, kneeling, or sitting in my chair with benchrest accuracy. Easy to carry at 7 lbs over my shoulder or use as a walking stick.
