What ammo should I use?

I was wondering which ammo I should use in my squirt gun for small game hunting? Hot water or cold water? Which would freeze quicker for the close up shots? Man it is cold here in the mountains of TN. -1* but it is supposed to get up to 9* today. Wind chill is wicked.

Here in the high desert of Oregon we finally warmed up after having some -20° weather. Then we had 40-50mph winds with gusts to 75mph. Snow was blowing sideways. Man it was misery at it's finest! Today looks like just 10 to 25 mph winds. no snow no rain and maybe 40° for a high.
It sure makes it tough to try and shoot in this weather. I'm ready for summer!
Oh and to answer your question, Cold water works best!
