A 7 WSM with, a Longer, "Necked" case, made by Lapua, Peterson or Norma, in a Long, Modified magazine, Tikka or, Sako, Action, would be Perfect,. IMO ! A Light weight, Mountain Hunting, Rifle with around, 1,000 Yards of,.. Killing, Power ( Just, in case,.. LOL ! ).
I don't need, a "Cannon", just a light weight,.. Mini- Cannon !

what you just described is the new 7mm Sherman MEGA. WSM head size, 334" long neck, 84 grain capacity, and will shoot bugholes at the high node with a 175 EH at 3180' in a 26" barrel.
Head stamped brass from ADG in January and dies and reamers available.

oh ya, it will run at under 3.2" with the mid action reamer and 3.250 with a LA reamer. The 195 at 3.3"

That, MEGA Thing, has about 10 to15 grains, more Powder than, my Shoulder can take,. LOL !
I was thinking maybe,.. 70 grains of, powder and a 175 gr. Elite Hunter, Bullet

That would be the 7ss. Most popular round I have.

Just read, a few, very FAVORABLE, Posts over on, AccurateShooter !
Sweet round and shoots, very "well" from what, I've read, so far !
175's or 180's with, some N-165 looks like,.. "The Ticket" !
