Weatherby Mark V Sporter - 340 Wby - SOLD
SOLD.
Previous sale fell through and with hunting season approaching, relisting the Wby 340 rifle.
This is an ideal rifle for elk, moose or any large North American game for the hunter who has the skills and confidence to make a long range shot.
Rifles going rate in a retail store w/o the scope is $900 and I've been offered $720 from a retail Gun Store.
Rifle includes muzzle brake with barrel OAL of 26". Recoil is relative and depends largely on the shooter, but if you can handle a 338 Win Mag or 300 Wby, this rifle will be fine for you. Muzzle brake will take the recoil down to the 7mm Mag range.
I'm the second owner of the rifle. I have not shot this particular rifle and previous owner shot less than a box of ammo. Too much gun for the Florida whitetail.
Scope is a Nikon Monarch 4-16x44 with BDC reticle SOLD.
That is not a scratch on the bottom edge of the forearm.
