Vortex Scopes

Ok guys,

Dilemma here. Im getting a remmy 5r in .308. was gonna put a swarovski z6i 2.5x15x56 with illum. ballistic reticle. But due to finances, i am considering either a vortex razor 5x20x50, or a PST 4x16x50. I need to get my total price down to around 3 g's or so. how much difference in glass quality between these 2 scopes? price diff of about $1000

The Razor will be better, but i'd look at nightforce if you can.

Quite a bit, glass quality isn't the 4-16 PST's strong suit. If you want Razor+ level glass at a lower price, I suggest the 5-20X50 HD SS which should be available around the end of the month. Or, if you don't need a big FOV on the low end and money is really tight, the 6-24 PST has pretty darn good glass but there's a big wait for those still.
