I am excited about this LRF. I can't find any reviews on it yet. if anyone has some in field experience with this range finder I would love to hear about it. I have been saving my money for the 1600B but have enough for this one right now!

I really like my sig kilo 2000. I haven't had too much time to use it yet but I've ranged building's over 2000 yards, a coyote over 800 and elk over 1100 yards. My wife got mine for me at Christmas for a little over $400.

I love Vortex's warantee. It's hard for me to buy anything else anymore. I have broken my last two rangefinders. The Sig sounds great though. I wonder what their warrantee is?

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure it is lifetime on everything but electronics and 5 year on those. I know how you feel about vortex warranty I've been moving most of my optics to vortex over the past few years but I wanted a rangefinder that would range a animal/soft target to 1000-1200 yards and the Sig was the only one that would do it in my price range
That is what I am looking at too. Price range. I just bought s Vortex spotting scope off of Craigslist and need a range finder to complete my optics package. My bushnell let me down during a coyote hunt last month. Ranging a yote on featureless rolling hills.
