Volrtex Viper

I see Midway has the Vortex Viper 4-26X on sale for $330. How good are they (I know they aren't Nightforce quality but for the average Joe on a limited budget at ranges out to 600-800 yards)?

A Vortex Viper would be O.K., especially at that price. It is covered by the VIP warranty. It has been my experience (somewhat limited) Vortex may not track perfectly but not bad. I have seen several Vipers fail under heavy use but Vortex will replace them. For the average Joe, at $330, that is a pretty good deal.
