vintage Engraved 12ga O/U

This is a real nice shotgun, bought when I was going through a fancy display gun phase.
the box states:
"Turkish Firearms Corporation"
sn
103D GD-5 28" 3"
Large medallion scroll engraving
3x pistol grip stock.

Original price on the label is $2,325.00 USD

the barrels (actually measure 27 1/2") are stamped Made in Turkey HHF; importer is TFC Manassas Park VA.

Engraving is beautiful. Finish work is outstanding. Absolutely a nicer fit and finish than my CZ Ringneck, which is made by Huglu. From what I was told, these high grade ones were made by a single craftsman. $1000.00 plus all shipping fees & insurance to an FFL.

I've looked up some modern Huglu 103-D o/u's on the internet and they are all plain Jane, generic utility guns. This one is in a different ballpark.

Not many fully engraved 103d's with grade 5 wood around so the market varies. I have seen them sell for $900-2k.

Pretty decent guns and way above the grade of the current offerings of CZ.
