Jeff,
That is good to hear!!! and from a trusted source, too!!
I have that 375 AM coming soon(I hope, I hope I hope!!!) and will see which vehicle I'll sell to fund the vectronix.
I think I screwed up by getting only a 20 MOA rail.
Also, it indicates that a Wild won't be necessary.
zman,
What's the anticipated build time on your thumper?
Roy,
All of my parts will be here by the end of next week..I got so focused on the gun I forgot the dies and brass, so Dave Viers is working on this as we speak so he can ship it before he leaves for vacation.
Here are the lead times for my parts.....
BAT action got extened another two months, so i canceled the BAT and Lawton Machine will be sending me a Lawton 8000 next week. And a 40 moa rail (don't forget to go with a 40 moa rail).
Manners T2, 90% carbon fiber 12 week lead time...We went a few weeks over cause we had issues getting demension data to Manners from BAT, but with the Lawton changer over, this was solved as Tom Manners has inletted several Lawtons in the past. By the way, the stock should weigh in at 2.3 pounds (really light)
Brux barrel...1-10 twist...32 inch...about the same lead time as the Manners stock. The barrel has an interuppted flute and is 1.345 at breach and palma taper to .920 at the muzzle. It wieghs in at 6.5 pounds.
I would say that with your choice of actions you should be able to get an action in less than 3 months if you pick and choose.
The stock and the barrel should not be more than 12 weeks, so you should be able to pull all parts in this time frame.
My reamers and "go gage" were only 6 weeks and I have had that for sometime.
Now we only have assembly time. So If I can't get this gun on the range by the first week in Aug,,,something is wrong.
By the way if you go with a snipe tac...I will have reamers and go gage for sale...should be good for a few more guns...you can use it and sell it again..
hope that helps
zman
