Vanguard bottom metal?

What options are out there for bottom metal on a Vanguard\Howa magnum length action?

My factory bottom metal has cracked (long story), and I am looking for options.

Try PTG (Pacific Tool and Gauge). They show it will not be ready until spring but you never know. Rumor has it they were early on the 40X rimfire bolts.

Like you Im still waiting as well. You can call weatherby and see if you can get one. I had to get mine from Germany. Pete Lincoln in going to be making bottm metal for use with AI mags but I have not seen it yet.

For anyone looking for this, CDI now has bottom metal to fit the Howa\Vanguard. Mine is being inletted now! I have CDI bottom metal on another rifle and it is great.
